El Galleon Resort, Puerto Galera -- Renowned for its peaceful beachfront surroundings El Galleon is on Small Lalaguna Beach, Puerto Galera. Thirty air-conditioned rooms have been carefully integrated into the tropical hillside, all in keeping with the area's natural beauty. Offering stunning views of Sabang Bay and Small Lalaguna Beach, each room is complete with a fully stocked mini-bar, hot & cold water, and hotel amenities. All rooms include both a/c unit and a ceiling fan.

Asia Divers -- Located in-house at El Galleon, Asia Divers is the Philippines first PADI/CDC dive center. All dives are guided by experienced Instructors or Divemasters who lead the dive in the water giving you the best of each site, including areas not frequented by other operations. Some of the best diving in Asia, over 30 sites, are all within 15 minutes travel from the resort. There are dives suitable for all experience levels. It adds to diver comfort that the dive boat is generally able to return to dock between most dives. The exception to this would be the two or three-tank trips to the awesome diving of Verde Island...well worth the trip.

Air travel to Manila is not included in these prices. All lodging options at El Galleon are comfortably air-conditioned. This trip is a great value and will sell out. If you are interested, please do not delay.
Your Island Dreams El Galleon group dive package will include: Airport greeting on arrival in Manila, and transfer to the Oxford Makati Suites for an overnight stay, with breakfast included. Use this time to overcome jetlag and refresh yourself for the diving ahead. Next morning, receive car and boat transfer from Manila to El Galleon Resort, Puerto Galera. Enjoy ten (10) nights at El Galleon Resort in the lodging-style of your preference. El Galleon package includes lodging, tax, three meals daily, and up to four boat dives daily. Please note that there is no shore diving at this location. This conducted group tour includes the services of professional divemaster and tour guide Ken Knezick. Ken will do his very best to assure you of a superior Philippines dive and vacation experience. Arrange your own air travel to Manila, or contact Island Dreams for assistance. ** Passport and Travel Requirements: Your passport must remain valid for at least six months following your planned departure from the Philippines. No visa is required for this trip. U.S. citizens may enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay not exceeding twenty-one (21) days. You must hold a valid airline ticket for your departure. A tax of 750 Philippine pesos will be levied at the airport upon departing the Philippines. At current exchange rates, this is approximately $16 USD.

This package price includes one night of lodging in Manila on the night of arrival. The cost of any other pre or post-trip lodging is not included in the package and is at guest's additional expense.

Here is the basic itinerary:

Wednesday, April 7, 2010 -- Depart the USA and fly to Manila, The Philippines, arriving on Thursday, April 8. **Airfare is not included in the basic package price, but Island Dreams stands ready to assist you with air travel arrangements.
Thursday, April 8 -- Regardless of flight itinerary, all group participants must be in Manila by this evening. You will be met at the Manila Airport on arrival, and transferred to the Oxford Suites Hotel, Makati. We will all overnight at this very comfortable lodging. Transfer to this hotel, double occupancy lodging, and breakfast the next morning are included in your Island Dreams package.
Friday, April 9 -- Our group will make a mid-morning departure from our Manila hotel, and enjoy private transfer by car and then boat all the way to Puerto Galera and El Galleon Resort.
April 9 - 19, 2010 -- Ten (10) nights at El Galleon Resort, Puerto Galera
Your El Galleon package includes ten (10) nights of lodging, hotel tax, all meals, and up to four boat dives per day. Please note that there is no shore diving at Puerto Galera.
Monday, April 19 -- Depart El Galleon and transfer directly back to the Manila Airport in time to make your outbound international flight connection.
Tuesday, April 20 -- With the International Dateline in your favor, return to the USA on the morning of April 20, with the day to rest up before returning to your home/work routine.
