What is Included? -- The following prices are per person, based on double occupancy. Hotel packages include lodging, hotel tax, and two boat dives per day. Most include a full meal plan with breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Complimentary beach tanks (on boat diving days) are available upon request. A third-tank boat dive may be arranged at additional expense. The M/V Solmar V is a live-aboard boat dive trip, which includes lodging, diving, and meals. Please note that all prices and inclusions are subject to change. The following prices do not include airfare or land transfers. We can however arrange these on your behalf.

BUENAVISTA BEACH RESORT - East Cape

This comfortable property is comprised of 60 rooms in a lush garden setting. The hotel fronts on a beautiful white sand beach and the deluxe rooms are just steps from the beach. The view from all of the rooms is focused toward the lush tropical grounds and pool area and not of the ocean. Basic rooms are garden view and the upgraded rooms have a pool view, while the comfortable restaurant and bar overlook the sea. There is a very nice swimming pool and two Jacuzzis, fed by a natural thermal hot spring. Al fresco, oceanview dining is offered whenever the weather permits…which, in season, is most of the time. Working closely with Buenavista Beach Resort and Mark Rayor's Vista Sea Sport, Buenavista Beach Resort will provide you with an unequalled East Cape diving experience.

RANCHO LEONERO RESORT - East Cape

A small, American-owned resort, set on its own rocky bluff overlooking the Sea of Cortez, this property represents the most exclusive of the available lodgings. The swimming pool and deck offer a stunning ocean view, while the adjacent restaurant and bar have a safari theme with mounted wild-game trophies. The reef out front, while perhaps a bit shallow for beach diving, offers good snorkeling opportunities. Considering that the rates seem to be only marginally higher than the other options, Rancho Leonero seems a great choice for couples, families, or groups who will appreciate the beautiful rustic beach and remote natural setting.
